Account & Data Deletion

In accordance with Google Play and Apple App Store policies, you have full control over your personal data and account lifecycle in Fixturs. You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal records at any time.

Option 1: Delete Directly in the Fixturs App (Instant)

This is the fastest method. Deletion takes effect immediately upon confirmation.

Open the Fixturs app on your Android or iOS device.
Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the navigation menu.
Select Account to open your account management screen.
Scroll down to the Danger Zone section at the bottom.
Tap the Delete Account button.
In the confirmation prompt, tap Delete Account to confirm.

Note for Squad Captains: If you are the active captain of a squad with other members, you must first transfer captaincy to a teammate or delete the squad before deleting your personal account.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email (If App is Uninstalled)

If you have uninstalled the app or are unable to sign in, you can request manual account deletion from our support team:

Send an email from the email address registered with your Fixturs account to: support@fixturs.app
Include the subject line: Account Deletion Request - Fixturs.
Specify your registered email address and full name.

Types of Data That Are Deleted

When your account deletion is processed, the following personal data is permanently erased:

Profile & Identity: Your email address, full name, profile photo / avatar URL, and user profile record are permanently wiped and anonymized to "Deleted User".
Authentication & Security: Your credentials, password hash, and user record in Supabase Auth are permanently deleted, instantly revoking all access tokens and login sessions.
Squad Memberships: You are removed from all squads and group memberships.
Upcoming Fixtures & RSVPs: All your upcoming match RSVPs, availability statuses, and lineup/bib team allocations are permanently deleted.
Notification Tokens: Device push notification tokens registered with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Apple Push Notification service (APNs) are unlinked and purged.

Types of Data Retained & Retention Period

To prevent disruption to other squad members and ensure integrity of historical sports records:

Historical Match Results & Team Scores: Completed match outcomes, final scores, and aggregate squad game history are retained. Past player appearances in historical matches are retained strictly in an anonymized format (attributed to "Deleted User") with zero personally identifiable information attached.
Personal Data Retention Period: Personal identifiers are deleted immediately (0-day retention) when initiated in the app. For requests submitted via email, your data is processed and fully purged within 30 days of identity verification.
Financial / In-App Purchase Records: Payments and subscriptions are processed externally by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not store credit card or payment information. Subscription records retained by Google or Apple follow their respective platform retention policies.
